Rigby, ID – A small town and the county seat of Jefferson County, Rigby has a population of about 3,945. Most of Rigby’s citizens commute to either Rexburg or Idaho Falls for work, as it is situated about half way between each city. Notable citizens of Rigby over the years include Philo T. Farnsworth who drafted his original blue prints for the television while living in Rigby, and are on display at the Jefferson County Museum in town.
